Hello and welcome to my blog! My name is Charlotte, and I'm glad you are here. I grew up in the country, and although family farms are diminishing in number, I knew that I wanted to continue that tradition. As my brother took over our family farm, I started my own. Along the way I have done a lot and learned even more. I have done conventional and organic farming, raised cattle and tended to bees, done it on my own and hired help. Now, I have even started diversifying our income streams at the farm – I have turned a portion of it into an RV park, built cabins for travellers, sold horseback riding lessons and more.
